End of day 1

We've had a great day at mintfest with the Sonic Landscape installation. Loads of people have enjoyed our sounds in the brilliant sunshine in Abbot Hall Park. We're back tomorrow for more of the same if you would like to come along and hear our work and talk to the artists.

We all really enjoyed Mintfest with so many amazing acts - here's a picture of Shaun joining in with one......

i have been round town to see all of the diffrent acts and proformanses around kendal and also been along the sound trail that i helped to make

I HAVE BEEN AROUND KENDAL TODAY IT WAS FUN AND I SAW THE DANCERS THE JUGGELERS AND THE MIMEISTS. I ALSO HELPED TO MAKE THE SOUND TRAIL AND I HEARD MYSELF SAY HAPPY.

First impressions

When I was back at the Lantern House, I didn't quite understand how it was all going to work. When I got here and started hearing the sounds coming out of the trees, it all started to make sense. I think that it's set up very well, and after going round and talking to the public, it's interesting to see how many are interested and how many aren't. More people seem to be interested though than those that are not, which is good.

I think the installation sounds good. I have really enjoyed hearing my work as part of the finished piece. It's been great to have the public hearing what we created over the summer.

we have arrived

we have had a dry run of the installation at Abbot Hall Park for Sonic Landscape at Mintfest - trying out our super wi-fi dongle sat on the grass - all sounding great and we're now waiting to start the installation at 12 o'clock :-)
